Hello Luke...

IMG_3646.png

After a long and exhaustive search, many auditions we finally found a guitarist that is willing to join the Lithium family.

Luke Burley has been a familiar face on the Essex cover band circuit working with 6 String Makeover, as well as being a session player for Anne Marie and for many of the X Factor finalists and semi finalists.

Luke shares the Lithium live and loud philosophy and the  has the same professionalism and lack of taking things seriously that Ian, Mark and Benson have always had.

When asked about joining Lithium Luke said " Thought I was buying batteries, not joining Essex's premier Power trio*" *According to Ian & Benson.

Having not giving Luke the opportunity to realise his mistake he will be out with the Lithium Lads at The Woodlands Edge, Ockenden on the 24th of June.

Hope to see you there!

Love and Hugs

Good Bye Marky...

Mark's last srand.jpg

10 years is a long time, actually 11 years is a slightly longer time, but that’s how long Lithium has been in existence. We may have had more drummers than Spinal Tap but there has always been core of the Band, Mark Williams. Ok Ian’s been there too, but we all know the Lithium sound is Mark’s guitar.
Mark has decided to hang up his Les Paul and put the dust covers over his Marshall stack. So before we put him out to stud with a gaggle of groupies we had one last blast at The Cow & Telescope. It was great to see so many friends there especially the guys from The Strides, who started the 2nd set for us and showed us how to play Park life properly.

Mark has been a fixture on the Essex cover band scene for quite some time, gracing the stages of pubs and clubs with bands including Storm and Scooby, leaving his signature sound ringing in the ears of those enjoying the "bitchin' riffs".

More than anything else Mark has become a great friend to us and we're going miss him.

Happy retirement Marky!

Love you

Ian and Benson
